CUTE WORDS KIDS GET WRONG

Janine's nephew says nebanas for bananas - oh how cute!  Reminded me of what my youngest Daniel used to say: jamamas instead of pyjamas - ahh!

Anyone else with cute mistakes that you just don't want to ever correct please comment!

Oh and another thing Daniel used to say if he was thirsty was "I'm drinky" - we all still use it now -describes the feeling much better than "I'm thirsty"!

Drama performance of The Donkey's First Christmas

As opposed to doing a story time in competition with Santa, the kids today were riveted!  Brian the pastor was a brilliant donkey - hiding behind hay, limping, braying and doing a great job of playing ill.  One kid was convinced Janine had a REAL baby in her tum.  We mixed drama with singsong and began with 'twinkle twinkle', then half way through - 'Little Donkey', ending up with 'Away in a Manger' - Have never seen the kids so still and attentive - O twas such an amazing day... Thanks to everyone who helped out.  and you were a brill owner Rowena!
